Dordogne is known as the region with the 1001 Chateaux. Brantôme, Périgueux, Sarlat, Bergerac etc. all are villages/cities with beautiful ancient architecture and a profound culture.
Adventures
For the adventure seekers there is also a lot to discover; from kayaking, visiting (abbey) caves, treetop adventures, flying, all-terrain scooter crossing and many more all nearby within 30 min of La Grange.

La Grange is surrounded by peaceful woodland and directly connected to a beautiful 20 km hiking trail. It’s an easy and scenic route through nature — perfect for slow mornings or golden-hour evenings. The wider region offers many more quiet trails for every level, always green, always inspiring.
Horseriding

La Grange is more than a gîte — it is a small family farm where we embrace a self-sufficient way of living. Depending on the season, days are filled with foraging, gardening, preserving food, caring for animals and creating our own farm products. There is always something to experience, something to learn, and always a story unfolding.

Stay at one of our Gîtes
Our two gîtes offer a warm and comfortable stay with everything you need to unwind: a fully equipped kitchen, inviting bedrooms, a modern bathroom and thoughtful amenities. Outside, you can enjoy our garden, terraces and a shared swimming pool — only shared with one other gîte, keeping the atmosphere calm and private.
To preserve the peaceful setting, we welcome guests from 16+.
Gîte & horse
At La Grange, both riders and their horses are welcome. Bring your horse on holiday and enjoy peaceful forest trails straight from our doorstep. Your horse will stay in spacious, well-kept stables — and if you wish, we can take care of the daily feeding and stable duties, therefore you can simply relax and enjoy your time here.
